Countdown to Christmas: Day 10 – Supply Chain
NWCH’s Supply Chain Special Interest Group (SIG) has been active since 2010, developing relationships and sharing best practice and continuous improvement...
Key Performance Indicators – Working together to promote Framework commitments of localism, delivering true value and cost certainty, our supply chain is monitored through KPIs, ensuring they meet the stringent targets set by the NWCH and provide best value to our Clients.
Market Intelligence – Data gathered is fed into Framework Contractor Partners to ensure current market conditions are accounted for within their projects. Keeping abreast of factors like availability of materials, current labour levels and forthcoming price increases reduces the risk of any programme slippage or unnecessary costs. Small to Medium Enterprises – By prioritising local SMEs we have established a team of Contractors who are aligned to our visions and values, work in a collaborative manner and provide excellent service and commitment.
“I have been working with the contractors on NWCH since the first iteration in 2010, and my business has seen turnover of approximately £10m to date over the course of eight different projects. This shows the opportunities for continued growth for small businesses like mine, and the benefits of working with a framework like NWCH. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team and their collaborative approach; the focus on social value is fantastic and the projects I’ve been involved in through NWCH have had a real impact on their local communities.” –– Managing Director at Williams Construction.
“Working with NWCH has given us the confidence to employ more staff, due to the longevity of the projects we have secured through their frameworks. As a result, this has had a positive effect on our turnover. We also feel our Health and Safety standards have improved and we now have documentation in place for large jobs in the future.”
