ISG offers use of Covid app to wider sector

An app developed by Framework Partner, ISG has been opened up for use by the wider sector to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The app was designed to capture new processes, procedures and innovations to enable operatives to work safely on construction sites, and is constantly updated with the latest information and guidance.

It offers general information and examples on how to introduce social distancing, as well as highlighting good practice in a range of scenarios, such as pouring concrete, erecting scaffolding and mast climbing.

The app can be accessed by clicking this link.

Neil Walker, framework director at ISG, said: “Building on the successful implementation of our digital resource to share best practice and innovation for safe working within the covid-19 guidelines, we have offered access to this industry-leading approach to the wider industry. We are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise in this arena to support the wider NWCH contractor base to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.”

In advance of schools reopening in June 2020, ISG adapted its app for Vale of Glamorgan Council to support 60 schools. It has since been adapted to support more client partners and is being championed by Build UK amongst its members.
