What is your role at NWCH?
My role is as Business Support Officer to the NWCH team, ensuring that the team runs as efficiently and effectively as possible on a day to day basis.
What’s your background?
Before joining the team I worked in recruitment for 5 years. I also spent last year working on the employment team in HR for Manchester City Council which is where I saw this role advertised.
What do you like most about working for NWCH?
My favourite thing about working for NWCH is the team I work with. From the people I sit with in the office to the stakeholders I work alongside, everyone has been so welcoming and friendly since joining the team before Christmas.
What is the most challenging aspect of your role?
The most challenging aspect of the role (but also my favourite) is how varied it is, no day is the same and it can be very fast paced. Being organised is an absolute must but when I get into the office in the morning and make my plan for the day everything falls nicely into place.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Like most people I like spending my free time with friends and family. I have family who live in Ireland who I’m really close to so travelling across to Ireland to see them is something I like to do often. I also love just chilling out at home watching a good series with a glass of wine and takeaway.
5 words that describe you..
I would like to think that I am friendly, funny, kind, laid back, and confident!
